Welcome 2019!

It is diffucult to believe how quickly 2018 has come and gone. I am looking forward to 2019 for many reasons, like new year resolutions (or last year's renewed), new adventures, and expanding my love of art and crafts into something I can share. I created an etsy account about a year and a half ago, but didn't really start doing much with it until this past Fall. There was always "timing" issues or I just didn't feel like anything was as ready as I thought. When I finally put my stuff out there and advertised myself a little, I found out how supported I was and that people actually liked my stuff. Everytime I have a new piece ready, there's always a part of me that worries it is simply not good enough or people won't appreciate it as much as me. That shouldn't stop me though. That shouldn't stop any of us.

One of my resolutions, or whatever you want to call it, of 2019 is simply to not stop. I plan on setting weekly goals for myself in both creating and posting. I want to share the hows, the inspirations, and the supporters. I want to do more for the people who stand by me everyday as well as the casual shopper just looking for that one perfect birthday present or the like. So the specific goals are to have at least one new post a week and one new item added to my shop a week. These are not exactly small goals, but in all honesty, they are far from unattainable. I love making new things, and I would love to one day have it all mean something.

There are always the far in the future plans that I feel as though I am working a little towards everyday, but everyday those plans also morph ever so slightly. I hope I will still be here, a part of this community, a year from now, but I do not have the gift of seeing that far into the future. So until then, let's get crafty, let's party and please enjoy some of Christie's Creations from alittlecupofpeas!

Also, PS, I'm super new to this part of the scene. I would love comments, messages, critiques, anything really. And I am always up to custom orders or commissions. So, now I am really done. Please share with your friends!
